Now, after restart, the jets are more powerful and the chlorine/bronime cartridge depletion is back to 4 weeks. Even though the tests were perfect and my water looked crystal clear, there was growth in the pipes that I could not see. I will be using this regularly from now on. One lesson I learned was that a bit of dirty water remained in the pipes after I drained the hot tub. On start-up it was blasted back into the hot tub. All is OK, but next time after draining, I will flush the jet lines with a hose and then drain that dirty water out before refilling.
