I am someone who has built and enjoyed lots of stereo systems over the years including some fairly audiophile set-ups. My musical tastes are quite wide ranging - classical, pop, jazz and some dance music. I have used it as a desk-top amp and also integrated it into a medium-sized room. I have tried the A07 Pro with Mission 760iSE speakers, Kef HTS2001 speakers, Cambridge Audio Mini12’s and with a Cambridge Audio MinX301 Subwoofer. For inputs I have used Bluetooth and RCA from an outboard DAC using digital sources including basic streaming, HD streaming and FLAC. The A07 Pro is a bright and responsive amplifier with plenty of power and headroom. The sound is transparent and detailed with very little distortion at normal listening levels. It handles most musical material with ease - vocals are clear and crisp, mids are well controlled and the bass is tight and rhythmic. I have listened for long periods and love it. It is very musical and easy to live with. This is an excellent value product - the performance at this price point is exceptionally good. The A07 Pro has a very useful Aux Out so you can add a Subwoofer if you like. The tone controls work well if you need to adapt the sound for your room. The A07 Pro has excellent built quality - the switches click nicely, the rotary controls are smooth and the case is solid. At the back the terminals and speaker bindings are a good quality - I use banana plugs for mine, they work perfectly. The A07 Pro doesn’t run hot or have any issues like that. The connection to the on-board Bluetooth is quick and easy and works perfectly. You can get it out of the box, wire up some speakers and connect a phone with bluetooth and have great quality music playing in just a few minutes - it could not be easier if you just want a basic setup like that. Aiyima is a good company to deal with - they have good customer service and take pride in the products that they make. Review: Paired first time with another brands Bluetooth stereo transmitter - Sending rear audio wirelessly from a front AV 5.1 amp to rear standard speakers should be an off the shelf package. You need a wireless transmitter + receiver to get rid of all those wires. I had such a package with my RocketFish TX+RX, but the amp receiver died after 5+ years of good service. This AIYIMA A07PRO (Bluetooth 5.2) was but half of the solution - I still needed a compatible transmitter. I took a gamble on the "1Mii Bluetooth 5.2 Transmitter for TV to Headphones" (Β£39.99). It works! The two Bluetooth devices pair up just fine, and as both are BT v5.2 they speak the same lingo and support the same audio codecs (eg aptX Low Latency). I *assume* any Bluetooth device which can "cast audio" can be received by the AIYIMA amp, which is just "headphones in disguise". Wireless headphones are just a mini-amp + mini speakers. The AIYIMA has a beefier amp and you plug in your own speakers. Simple, although it was not obvious to me at first. The AIYIMA amp wont go 300W without a 48v power supply, but I dont want 300W blasting out for rear surround sound. It fills in the rear audio more than enough as it is. I played some Dune Part 2 (4K) through my set up; front Denon 7.1 AV amp, front B&W stereo speakers (wired), front B&W centre speaker (wired). The rear/surround speaker terminals go into a "speaker level to line level converter" I found online. This converts loud speaker voltage to quiet voltage and outputs a 3.5mm stereo plug. This stereo plug goes into the 1Mii Bluetooth 5.2 Transmitter. The transmitter sends the audio wirelessly to the A07PRO, which amplifies the signal and sends it to my regular wired Tangent bookshelf speakers. My rear sub is also done wirelessly using a couple of tiny Marmitek boxes. These are stereo but I only use one channel. The audio from the AIYIMA is more than good enough for surround sound. Having volume + tone controls lets me balance things to my personal taste. The sound is clear and punchy and I detected no noise. I turned my front amp up to 100 (with nothing playing) and I had to put my ear right up against a rear speaker to hear the faintest hiss. At 50 there was no hiss. 50 is pretty loud - I generally listen around 30 during the evenings. I detected no lag between front (wired) and rear (wireless). My lounge is quite small so distances are short. My Denon amp allows me to set individual speaker "distance", which could allow me to fiddle with "lag", but I feel no need. The A07PRO has a metal case and feels quality. Metal will help evaporate away heat, which in turn helps the electronics live longer. My AIYIMA is on the floor next to my sofa. I can reach down, twiddle the knobs, all without leaving the comfort of my home cinema seating. I might treat it to a mini table. My now defunct RocketFish would output mains hum to the rear speakers when there was no signal (ie front amp turned off but front transmitter left turned on). The A07PRO does the same with the new 1Mii transmitter. Its a problem with my local earth levels/grounding. If I turn off the transmitter the mains hum stops. Just thought I'd mention it in case you noticed similar - for years I thought it a problem with the RocketFish, but turns out its my jumble of power supplies behind the TV. I'm very pleased with this device, and the fact it paired so easily with another device from a different brand. I made myself a small stereo for my desk using some Cambridge Minx speakers and an Aiyima A07Pro. The sound is great and I can listen to it all day. I listen to a wide range of music and everything sounds just perfect. Treble is transparent without any harshness, mid-range is clear especially for vocals and the bass is tight without any distortion even through small speakers. I have tried with other bookcase speakers and everything works just fine - the A07Pro has plenty of power for most situations and is absolutely great in small rooms or for my desktop. The A07Pro is really well made, the case is solid and the rotary controls are smooth and high quality. The amplifier is super easy to use using built-in Bluetooth connectivity - you can just stream music from your phone using Spotify, Youtube Music, Apple music or any other service. The bluetooth connection is perfectly stable with no drop-outs at all. The A07Pro is easy to connect to any speakers too.
