The type that heats up water and makes warm steam.** A: There is a statement on the bottle that says not for use in vaporizer ultrasonics. I know a vaporizer is not an ultrasonic but my assumption is it is not for use in either of these types of humidifiers. **Q: Can this be used to clean a swamp cooler?** A: It's made for a cabinet humidifier with a wick. I don't know how effective it would be with a swamp cooler.
