I've had no problems and I heartily recommend the Amber Powder fragrance. **Q: Can you use this oil in any paraffin lamp? or do you have to have a Lampe Berger?** A: With this oil you soak the wick and then light it and it makes quite a flame so I think no **Q: Can it be used with diffusers** A: No, this can only be used in Lampe Berger catalytic burners. I smoke but I hate the smell of stale smoke and so far these oils are the strongest and most stylish I have found.The Amber Powder fragrance is a woody fragrance with a subtle sweetness which is not sickly.It's a favorite of mine and I tend to choose woody,oriental & spicy scents , rather than delicate floral or any fruity types. The scents can always be diluted if you find them too strong , with a neutral oil made by Lamp Berger . This 1 L deal is a great saving too . Some of you may be put off by the prices of the lamps but you can buy very reasonable lamps that are ornamental in your home & you save a fortune on plug in fresheners that use you're electricity too & aerosol sprays that merely mask a smell for 5 minutes & are unkind to the planet as well.
