The Andis trimmer is the best trimmer I've ever used. I am not a professional but this made my life easier. When you use it go slow and steady. Be careful as it has some serious power, if you don't pay attention and control the blade it could trim off more hair than intended. It plugs into the wall so have an long extension cord handy. Two speeds let you cut through the most stubborn matting, remember steady and slow. It doesn't include trim guard so be sure to use a pinky finger under the blade to control depth.
