A: Well yeah, just mount it horizontally on your belt.

**Q: I must be missing somwthing. it says and shows two ways to mount the sheath. but the pics don't show a belt going through slots. how do you use it?**
A: Mine is a different knife OD green single edge so the sheath may be different also and mine is belt loop only. My Brother was was a Door gunner 1970 173rd ABN Casper PLT.
