We ordered a suitable size for an 8 year old, but on looking at reviews I noticed there had been a lot of comments stating that the suit was actually smaller than standard sizing. My son's Viking Day at school was fast approaching and he's big for his age so I ordered the larger size, anticipating that when the smaller one arrived I would just return it. The first one didn't arrive but I was refunded in full for it anyway and the largest size was a very neat fit. However, the faux fur was so scratchy that my son didn't want to wear it, a lot of the stitching came apart and the helmet arrived with a hole in one of the horns showing the white stuffing under (this didn't matter so much as I had a separate helmet for him to wear). Anyway, the tunic/cloak served it's purpose and it has been relegated to the back of the closet for my younger son's Viking Day.
