We tried many of them, and had to return all. Almost all touchless trashcans have the proximity sensor instead of the motion sensor (as advertized). They keep sensing sink bottom or cabinet top wall, and they stay opened or keep opening and closing indefinitely. That one has the real motion sensor and works really good in our kitchen under-sink cabinet. We purchased the second one for under the work desk.
