Primarily, did the genetic modification make the crop resistent to the Round-Up herbicide (allowing the all the plants field to be sprayed) and does its residue remain in the product? **Q: Can this be ate dry?** A: I do. **Q: Organic? non-gmo?** A: According to Bob's website, they no longer make the organic version of the TVP. I could not make sense of what they said about GMO; I would contact Bob's Red Mill directly to ask about that. **Q: Just confirming - is the tvp produced in the us? thank you.** A: I cannot find any information on where the TVP is produced. However, I did notice that it is processed and handled in their gluten-free facility. Which I assume is in Milwaukie Oregon I’m sorry that’s the best I can do. I think you’ll have to call them and ask them.
