A f1.4 la imagen es ligeramente suave, lo cual era de esperarse y al pasar a f2 la mejoría en la nitidez es bastante buena. Al llegar a f5.6 es notablemente nítida, lo cual se mantiene hasta f8 y f11. A f16 se nota un poco la caída en nitidez. En general estoy muy complacido con la calidad de la lente, excepto en las tapas y el parasol, los cuales se sienten de un plástico sumamente barato. El ajuste del parasol es muy malo, no ajusta de manera firme y se siente algo flojo. Esto no afecta como tal la calidad de la lente, por lo que mejor opté por ponerle un parasol metálico que se ajusta por medio de la rosca para filtros.
