And can you replace the batteries?** A: The heart beat only stays on for about a minute and then you have to pick it up and put it back on which disrupts the pet. The batteries will last because you have to keep picking it up to turn it back on. Ours didn't last long because our dog wanted to chew it! **Q: What kind of batteries does it use?** A: AA Batteries **Q: I just got this and there's no instructions!
