## Description

Portable Monitor

Review: Very good Quality - High-quality display with accurate colors and brightness, Great for portability and travel Comes with all necessary cables and accessories.
Review: MNN 15.6" FHD 60Hz Portable Monitor USB-C HDMI IPS HDR Gaming Laptop - MNN 15.6" FHD 60Hz Portable Monitor USB-C HDMI IPS HDR Gaming Laptop This is a very compact screen, for laptop or computer with HDMI connections. It runs off of power from the computer, it does have a switch to turn on and off through the electronics. Its not a hard on/off switch. The color is brilliant and clear, its quality rivals some of the more expensive dedicated monitors. SUPPORT IS OUTSTANDING one cleavett This monitor has an auto shut off, it is keyed when the data to the screen is absent, then there is a very short timer (I think it is for "No Data" that will shut the screen down if data is not restored in that time span. YOU CAN NOT change that timer span or turn it off. it is programmed in the electronics programming. A problem I found was... when some operating systems start up when they switch between the computer start up bios to the operating system, there may be a loss of data during this switch over. If that data is gone LONG ENOUGH, it will shut down the screen. Because the screen loads info on start up, IF you can restart the screen, it does not have the data it needs to run and display your operating system. I found in most cases it won't restart after the timer shuts it down. this does not happen in all operating system start ups, and it may be a programming problem on the part of the user, but it is something to be aware of. I will cautiously Recommend this monitor. When it works, it is very good. It is the most convenient portable screen I have ever used. It is powered by the computer battery so it is extremely portable. The chance that you may see this shut down problem is low and as I said, it only did this to one of my start up systems. I said SUPPORT WAS EXCELLANT. I turned to them for ideas to the problem of shutdown. I was hoping they knew how to run off the monitor shut down but they said it was in the programming. They responded to me several times as I was struggling to figure out what was going on. I finally figured out what was triggering the shut down but, since I am not a tech guy, I think they didn't believe all I said and may have thought it was a possible problem in the monitor so they send me another one FREE.... But it was the same programming, same concern. These screens do work on certain operating systems without a problem. I will adjust to those systems when this monitor is being used. 260820 1408

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I make the monitor brighter?**
A: There is a tiny little wheel switch on the right side marked "OSD". This wheel controls the brightness, wheel up to brighten, down to dim. The wheel also controls the volume, press down then wheel up to make louder, down softer. You get the idea.

**Q: How do you connect this to a MacBook Air(13-inch, early 2015)? The thunderbolt to usb-c cable is connected and it's plugged in and still not working.**
A: If it’s not turning on You may try using the additional cable and plug it into a power source the thunderbolt to USB C may not be giving it enough energy to power the device on.

**Q: What do I need to get this to work with a Surface Pro Laptop? Thunderbolt to female HDMI then male HDMI to USBC? I can't get this to work**
A: I connected my Surface with the HDMI. Then press the windows key + P to set it up. It won't detect it automatically.

**Q: How do I save full 100% brightness for the monitor each time I plug it in? Each time I plug it into my laptop, I need to manually increase the brightn**
A: Generally, I have not had to do anything, and full brightness remained. But sometimes I had to manually adjust it again. Occasionally, my laptop screen became a little dimmer for a while, despite being set at 100%, when the portable monitor was plugged in. This seems to be fine now.
