I didn't set up to blue tooth. The volume of the ring is easily adjusted, as is the listening volume for speaker phone. These phones are light weight and attractive. I wish they lit up to show they are properly positioned to charge...it says charge, although not lit up...it gives a little beep. They also tell you when the battery is low. The call blocking button works well too. It's nice and quiet now. I'm an old disabled vet and it makes a huge difference. It alerts me to messages ( like email, SMS, etc. ) and I can switch back and forth as necessary between my cell and my Dect phone. I use google voice and it has worked flawlessly with regular calls and google voice calls.
