No worries, nothing some cloth Velcro tape straps I had lying around didn’t fix, rolled 2 into little cylinders and placed one on each top and bottom. Total of 8 for all 4 corners to create about 1/4” and on of gap to keep the rim from hitting. Once on they stayed on. Haven’t messed with them since and have thrown groceries back there Wich was my initial worry or the speakers sliding toward the butt of the trunk and the subs pushing against themselves. Only real big deal I had was that the bars didn’t go all the way top or bottom, leaves a bit of room so if you have loose water bottle or something they might butt up against the speaker through that gap per say.
