The floor is white and never really looked clean. I tried this mop because of the scrub function, and it's the first time since the floor was put down that it has looked truly clean. The amount of effort to clean the floor was minimal, no kneeling and scrubbing, no back ache, no chemicals. So, to sum up, it has a really long cable which should be long enough for anyone who doesn't live in a bowling alley, it is quiet. It does what it says it will. It's easy to use. It's quick. It's not heavy to use, and doesn't take up much storage space. Definitely a 10/10. The lead is very long which is handy, the handle folds to give you two options of use and also brakes down into two parts for compact storage. It is a bit smaller than I expected but that makes it easy to use and very manoeuvrable. Some comments have been that its too light to polish properly but we did not find that was a problem. We got it for our terracotta tiles which are very uneven and it worked fine so I am sure it would be OK on a more flat surface. It has two rotating heads and comes with two scrubbing brush attachments, two polish application pads and two soft polishing pads. For us (very uneven floor) the scrubbing brushes did not do much, but again may be OK on smooth floors. The other pads worked well but for larger areas you may find it useful to have a spare set as the polishing pads in particular will need washing, so to save you waiting for them to dry a spare pair would be good. The spare pads are a bit pricey, I think, so wait until you get the machine and see how you get on. The polishing pads are made from microfiber cloth and attach to the velcro discs so we are going to make our own. Overall we are really pleased with this polisher, it's compact, lightweight, and easy to use which means it will get used much more often. We were hiring one each time so about three uses and its paid for itself. I have used the Ewbank both to scrub the surface with detergent, and then to re oil the floor. I use a simple squirty spray bottle in one hand, to apply Danish Oil, then buff it with the Ewbank, which is light and manoeuvrable enough to control with the other hand. It saves hours of "elbow grease ", and gives an excellent finish. Then you need to wipe over the machine and wash the pads fairly soon afterwards as the oil will dry on them quite quickly. Hope this helps. **Q: I have laminate flooring and find i leave i fiim on after washing and rinsing will this polish up the film** A: It should do. I used to wash my cheap laminate flooring which was in the house when I bought it. I do not wash it any more. I use the recommended polish for machine just a very little. Then buff up when polish drying. Floors look much much better. Look clean and shiny to me. **Q: Hi, i have pocelain floor tiles with a light grey grout. I also have a labrador. The grout is now brown. Will this machine scrub the grout lines?** A: Hi Badger, Nope sorry tried the exact same thing myself, but it just went over the grout lines, and did not scrub them, not even a little bit, sorry but I was forced to do that bit on hands and knees with a scrubbing brush, I did use a sonic brush which helped slightly and my room wasn't that big, but still took an age. Your tiles will come up nice, but not the grout lines, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. **Q: what accesories are included?** A: I received 2 brushes, 2 white scrubbing pads, 2 blue buffing pads and a small spray bottle of polish. The bottle is small but it does go a long way, as you really don't need much, I have polished 5 large floors with it giving 2 applications to 3 of the floors and still have about 2 3rds of the polish left. My floors are all laminate and it brings them up a treat, I also use the blue buffing pads dry every few days to bring back a shine, and am happy with the results, I was seriously thinking of getting rid of my laminate as although they say it is easy to keep, I had never mastered the art and it was always streaky after cleaning unless I went down on hands and knees, which wasn't feasible with a whole house. But this polisher makes my floors look good with a lot less effort. Perfect cleaner. Easy to assemble, instructions clear. Scrubbed and polished the floor with HG17 cleaner, and dry buffed with yellow pads. My yellow pads did not shed any fluff. The floor is streak free and perfect. The manual says 2200rpm, and 1m square metre per minute, so go slow and it will give you fantastic results. My tiles are yellowish with brown splashes.. so they always look dirty but they now look the best in years. For £80, best clean ever.
