This pouch is combined with the dry biscuits made specifically to complement this wet food. My purchase was made purely due to my cat having to undergo emergency surgery for a urethra blockage - trust me amongst other concerns you do not ever want to think about how they ensure the catheter remains in situ in a male cat… 🪡 😣. To avoid reoccurrence, the cone of shame, and another shaved rear end - a cat must always maintain their dignified appearance, and a fur style similar to that of a baboon’s bottom just doesn’t achieve this - a change in his diet was immediately required. This particular product is specifically put together to help cats with bladder crystals by reducing the crystal development. Thankfully since the end of January there has been no reoccurrence of the issue due to this new diet. There is a relatively strong smell to the content, and it has a very wet consistency when compared to other manufacturers. The benefit to this is that the consistency is easily able to be mixed and conceal medication that’s in powder form effectively, so reducing the chances of your cat refusing it.
