## Description

Crocosmia Large Flowering Mix (also known as Montbretia) is supplied as a pack of 10 dormant corms, size 6/8, ready for planting in the suitable season. This mixed selection produces bold red, orange and yellow blooms from summer into late summer, adding strong colour and vertical structure to garden borders. Crocosmias grow from corms and form clumps of upright, sword-shaped foliage topped with gently arching flower stems. Plants typically reach approximately 60–100cm in height once established. For the best visual impact, plant in small groups to create a natural drift effect through borders or large containers. Supplied as dry, dormant corms (not potted plants). Dormant corms may appear firm and dry on arrival, which is normal for healthy planting stock. As this is a mixed selection, exact flower shades and final height can vary naturally between plants and growing conditions. Crocosmia performs best in a sunny position in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Avoid waterlogged ground, particularly over winter. Plant in spring after the risk of hard frost has passed, placing corms approximately 7–10cm deep and 10–15cm apart.
