This Tweezerman Smooth Finish Facial Hair remover essentially plucks the hairs from the root by catching/tangling them between the wires. For me beyond some immediate redness that dissipates quite quickly that is the only reaction (It’s essentially like threading but with metal). Where the Finishing Touch Flawless you’ve mentioned appears to use micro blades essentially very finely shaving the hair from the surface, leaving the hair follicle/root in place. Personally I wouldn’t be comfortable using the product you’d mentioned as for me, shaving of any sort is quite irritating let alone on my face (I’ve never tried to be honest but certainly wouldn’t want to). In terms of this Tweezerman product because it is catching the hairs the finer the hair the harder it is to get so shaving will naturally have a more obvious and immediate effect but will likely also cause faster and darker hair growth which requires maintenance and much more frequently. Go to YouTube *by W***R on 24 July 2018* When I received this there were no instructions either in or on the packaging on how to use it. I rolled it over my face but it had no effect whatsoever. So I searched on YouTube which gave several good videos on how to use this. Step 1: hold the coloured handlebars in both hands Step 2: make sure both the arrows on the two silver collars are pointing towards your face Step 3: roll the bent coil over the area you want epilating whilst rotating the silver collars towards your face It does work. It works best on facial fuzz and less well on more stubborn whiskers.
