Review: Goodbye Paper filters - I’ve used K & N products for years so I’m not surprised that I’m pleased by the performance of this filter. While it doesn’t appear to have the ability to filter as fine of particles as some filters (carbon filters or something more restrictive) it performs well for me in every day city use. As a life time filter (using K & N cabin air filter refresh kit) the filter will pay for its self over the life of my car and less garbage in the land fill. I used to change my cabin filter more often (for health reasons), now with this life time filter the process is cheaper and my car is cleaner.

**Q: How do you wash this? Do you necessarily use K&Ns refresher kit to wash it?**
A: Wash as shown in the instructions and use genuine K&N cleaner spray and refresh

**Q: I fit this to my car and there is a space either side of it, What I mean is it doesn't sit flush in the air filter housing of the car. Is this right?**
A: I think that's right, if you check your previous filter it probably wasn't flush either.
