It works equally well with pods or ground coffee (I took pods with me on my hols for ease) and being able to use hot or cold water is so useful. I often have a flask of hot water but when I don’t I can still make a coffee to kick start my day. It will also be great for camping so I can see I am going to get plenty of use out of it. There are some drips and it is a bit messy but I found using a small microfibres cloth sorted all that out… I stand the machine on the cloth while using the cup (to absorb drips) and then give the whole think a wipe down with the cloth when I’ve finished. I am sorry that our Nano electric coffee machine cannot use this type of capsule. The design of this capsule is similar to a tea bag. It cannot hold pressure and can be extracted with water all over it. Yes, the water in our capsule holder will not get out, it will leak into the holder.
