I was tired of buying a new injector every time I marinated something, since someone in the house would invariably warp it in the dishwasher or the needle would strip out of the plastic. The cheap ones you wind up spending several dollars on anyway, so it doesn't take many to justify the cost of this one. It is very sturdy, has multiple types of injection tips for different marinating circumstances. It cleans up easily and can be fully sanitized. The o-rings are replaceable if they wear out.
