The mug itself is really well made. It keeps the drink hot for a few hours while not getting so hot on the outside that your going to need to wear a glove in order to hold it. She hasn't tried it with ice cubes however, by the time summer comes that will no doubt change and while it does stay warm i would say it would stay just as cold as well for drinks like smoothies or ice tea etc. The colour of the mug is really nice and sparkly with the logo that stands out. I felt the size of the mug is a good size its very functional and well worth the value. It made a good little gift that will be used all the time.
