I have a Rexel domestic product at home that has chugged on for 20 years of self-employed duty, it shreds two pages at a time if they're not thick. If you need something fast and dependable for regular office file shredding, can't take the time to remove staples &c, or need 12 sheets shredded at a time, I would suggest look at paying a fair bit more for a commercial-duty shredder which this does not pretend to be. I haven't tried dvd's. Generally I wouldn't run paper clips through any shredder but that's a personal preference. **Q: How to install this paper shredder?** A: Hi! It is easy to install. It requires partial assembly and package comes with instructions, you can follow the instruction to install and refer to our video. **Q: Does this shredder need oil? Like oil sheets or lubircants?** A: You don't need it right away unless you do a lot of shredding. And I recommend to use Bonsaii's own lubricant or oil sheet to prolong its lifetime. **Q: Manual for C-221B says continuous run time is only 10 minutes, but your description is 30 minutes continuous. Which one is correct?** A: Neither I could only get it to run for maybe 2 minutes. This is not a good product and you should pick another manufacturer and model. Although it claims it can shred 12 pages at once, this seems quite ambitious so am sticking to 4 or 5 as I don't want to risk a jam. It will be very useful shredding bank statements and other confidential documents. Although it's quite large and fairly heavy to lift it has a handle and good capacity bin.
