**Q: Can the treasure chest be submerged under water and if so does it stay on the bottom of the pool?**
A: Yes, this treasure box can be submerged in water.  This is why I chose this box instead of the wood treasure chests.  I don't think this will stay at the bottom of the pool; it will float on top of the water.  The gems are beautiful and I'm very happy with the size of them!  Hope this helps!
