Do yourself a favour and purchase an extra tube of the sticky stuff.If your garage floor is uneven you would be best trying to smooth it out as best you can. Ours is concrete so, other than scraping across a layer of concrete mix to try and get the effect, you're pretty much stuck.Make sure your measurements are correct, you don't want to cut this and then find out you've cut short etc. It needed to fit in snugly with the door that I have and I spent time measuring up in order to get it right.My floor was uneven and as a result, the rain water still seeps in in some places though no where near as much as it did before I put this down.It's ideal for the job, just follow the instructions and get your garage floor as clean as possible. I'd also consider getting a bag of 'post fix' and making up a fairly loose mix to spread across the area you're going to stick this to, ensuring that it's a nice flat and hopefully smooth surface. Recommend making sure your floor is level before starting, if not then it will appear a bit wonky to look at to get the correct seal ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impressive product *by D***G on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 5 September 2021* This was the only such product I could find which would close the average 29mm gap left by the local council contractors when they replaced the door to the garage I rent.It was not he cheapest on the market but it is very well designed and solid rubber throughout with no air cavities in the high quality extrusion moulding.Apart from preventing ingress of water and debris under the door, my main reason for purchase was to make it more difficult for any would be thieves to get a crowbar under the bottom of the door and try to lever the up and over door off its flimsy upper catches without making it obvious. In this regard it has gets a big thumbs up.I was apprehensive as to whether the adhesive provided with it would be sufficiently tenacious to bond to the concrete floor but again I am impressed. After 24 hours it has set so hard that you would need to dig up the concrete to remove it!One tip I would suggest is that you take time to fit the strip carefully around each side pillar of the garage.
