Unfortunately the colour was definitely more electric blue than purple, and it lasted quite a long time for semi permanent - usually a good thing but as slight downside when wanting to get rid of blue hair! If you can see a good colour sample or do a bit of colour research first, I'd still recommend, just be wary of colours not 100% matching the description.
