Review: Very Good backup in case of sub zero conditions - It's useful as a very cold weather back up. I ended up in trouble with the normal camping gas when the temperature went below -5 to -10...the normal gas simply stopped lighting on my Primus Omni Fuel, so I couldn't make a hot drink or cook. Anyhow, the C300 Xtreme works down to -27 so that's a great back up for sure. It's very expensive for some reason but it does give piece of mind. There are usb heated gas canister covers but I've yet to find any in stock to purchase.

It's useful as a very cold weather back up. I ended up in trouble with the normal camping gas when the temperature went below -5 to -10...the normal gas simply stopped lighting on my Primus Omni Fuel, so I couldn't make a hot drink or cook. Anyhow, the C300 Xtreme works down to -27 so that's a great back up for sure. It's very expensive for some reason but it does give piece of mind. First time user of this type of cartridge which I assumed would reseal itself once removed from appliance but unfortunately I does not 100% reseal. Now trying to identify the thread for a cap to seal it.
