**Q: can this replace a 60uf 250 volt for a hoist?**
A: If it is the same capacitance and voltage as the existing one in the hoist then yes

**Q: Is this really 60 uF or 16 uF as shown on the capacitor?**
A: Apparently so. I bought it for my band saw ant it works fine. The only problem is the it was quite a bit longer than the original and would not fit in its case next to the motor. Fortunately the white cover on this capacitor is longer than the capacitor it self. I was able to take remove a portion of the case to make it exact length and it fit.

**Q: will this work with 250vac rating?**
A: Yes

**Q: Do you have to charge the capacitor before installing to the motor or do you simply replace the capacitor?**
A: Just replace it. The capacitor will get charged when the power is turned back on.
