As with any trailer, however, 5th wheels and goosenecks must be equipped with the proper lighting and electrical systems, and tend to require even more complex connectors than a standard receiver-type trailer setup. Make things simple with a CURT 5th wheel / gooseneck extension harness. These wiring harnesses are designed to put an extra connector socket in the bed of your pickup truck while still retaining power to the rear connector socket mounted on your bumper. This is done by plugging into the back of the existing original equipment (OEM) harness and routing through the body of the truck to a hole in the truck bed, providing a connector that is ready to accommodate your 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer. This CURT extension harness is designed to work with 7-way RV blade connectors and comes in a length of 7'. It is compatible with a certain models of Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Nissan, Ram and Toyota (see application to verify fitment). The plugs fit right up to the plug coming off my truck and was able to plug right up to the plug on the back of the bed. And it’ll be super easy if I ever want to take this off and change it to a different truck. It works amazing ! A very thought out design!

A: Yes this will fit your 2021 Dodge Ram 2500

**Q: Will this fit my 2004 chevy 2500hd?**
A: It should fit, worked great on my 2003 2500 HD.

**Q: Will it fit a 1999 ford super duty**
A: Fit my 03! I used it for an extra of the left inside for the fifth wheel did have to drill out the inside behind the light with a 2 1/4" hole saw to get the connector through.

**Q: This does alow the use of both bumper and bed plugs?**
A: Yes you just un plug the factory plug and the Curt plugs into the factory plug allowing use of both the factory and the Curt in bed plug. Easy to install.
