It causes damage to perfectly healthy hair! *by M***P on June 9, 2025* I tried this shampoo at my mother's house (it was my step sister's shampoo) and liked it after using it a couple of times. I ordered some for myself because it was so much less expensive than the redken I had been using my whole life. I'm only 30 and have never dyed my hair or caused any major damage to it. This shampoo is weird, after using it for a week or two almost every day it began feeling like as soon as I applied it to my hair in the shower it would make my scalp and hair feel dry even when it was just soaking wet a moment before. It does not seem to be hydrating at all, it's the opposite of hydrating. It's now impossible to scrub my head or hair with this shampoo, like it has some kind of hydrophobic properties or it just strips too much oil from my hair? I'm really unsure what is going on. If people are suffering from hair loss, I think that could be from trying to scrub their hair like normal while this shampoo is drying out their hair. After a day my hair feels greasier than normal, which makes me think I need to wash it again, and the cycle continues. I won't even finish this shampoo or give it away, it's going in the trash before it causes any more damage. Do not buy this shampoo, something is not right here. I never leave reviews, but this was necessary.
