Too many numpads are all black, and this one is different and pleasing to the eye. Some minor cons: It lights up and has "effects". Why someone would want this, I have no idea. I find it annoying. However, it's easy to turn off the backlighting, and the numpad will remember the setting even if unplugged. The num lock light is a bright bluish-white which is distracting. It's nothing that a small piece of tape can't fix, but I wish the manufacturer had used something unobtrusive like a standard green LED. The homing bar on the 5 key is a little small. What I will say is that while the color scheme matches my keyboard, it comes with white light instead of rainbow lights and the keys sound different.
