Der Preis von 169 Euro ist natürlich bitter für einen Doppeltuner, aber der VDR macht, was er soll (wer den VDR nicht kennt: das ist der Video Disc Recorder, eine Art Fernseh-Software, die aus einem PC einen Festplattenrecoder macht, ähnlich wie der DVBViewer auf Windows, nur halt auf Linux und wie üblich hier komplett umsonst). Die Karte eignet sich sogar, wenn man den PC nur in den Sleep schicken und mit der Fernbedienung (am USB) wieder aufwecken möchte.... danke an den Hersteller für den tollen und schnellen Support hierfür, mein PC benötigt nun genau 11 Sekunden, bis nach dem Wakeup des PC ein Fernsehbild da ist ...Grüße aus WürzburgUlrichNachtrag 07.07.2017Die Karte läuft so gut und macht durchaus Lust auf mehr. Ich liebäugle gerade mit der Octa-Tuner Karte (DD S8), ich habe Lust, sie auszuprobieren, d.h. von dem Doppel-Tuner auf einen 8-fach Tuner umzusteigen, wenn der auch so stabil läuft. Über Geschwindigkeit beim Programmwechsel kann man sich nicht beschweren. Installation und Inbetriebnahme einfach. ### ⭐⭐ Funktioniert nicht überall. *by on Reviewed in Germany 2 January 2018* Ich bin sehr angetan von der Karte. Die Qualität ist Augenscheinlich sehr gut und macht einen guten Eindruck. Die Installation ist schnell erledigt und die Karte ist einsatzbereit. Für Unicable gibt es unter Windows noch ein Extra Konfigurationstool, damit man in der eigentlichen TV Software es nicht mehr einstellen braucht, bzw. auf Software Angewiesen ist die Unicable unterstützt.Umschaltzeiten sind sehr gut und Bildfehler oder Aussetzer hatte ich damit nicht.Die Option die Karte um weite Tuner (DVB-T, weitere DVB-S oder DVB-C) oder CI-Slots Erweitern zu können, finde ich auch ganz gut.Warum es nicht zu 5 Sternen reicht will ich auch noch schnell mitteilen.Unter GNU/Linux ist man auf einen Treiber angewiesen der nicht im Mainline Kernel integriert ist. Der Treiber liegt aber im Quelltext vor und ist auch unter der GPL Lizenziert. Was ich aber bei einem Treiber vermisse, der nicht innerhalb des Kernels gepflegt wird, ist DKMS, damit der Treiber bei einer Kernelaktualisierung erneut compiliert wird. Das wäre kein Hexenwerk gewesen und hätte eine menge an Komfort bedeutet.Unter Windows gibt es solch ein Problem zwar Theoretisch nicht, aber unter Windows muss man auf Secure Boot verzichten. Seit Windows 10 muss der Treiber für Secureboot anders signiert werden was Digital Devices nicht tut.Wer also auf Secureboot nicht verzichten will oder kann, wird wohl eine andere Lösung müssen.Nachtrag: Ich habe die Bewertung weiter reduziert weil die Karte auf diversen Mainboards von Asus, MSI, Gigabyte oder Asrock mit einer Intel Apollo Lake CPU nicht korrekt funktionieren will. Alle Hersteller weisen jedes Problem von sich.
