I compared this gauge to other gauges in my shop and it was spot on. This would work great as a replacement gauge for an air compressor or any other compressor needs with NPT fittings. I like it a lot and happy with this purchase.

A: The user must ensure that the appropriate pressure gauge has been selected in terms of scale range and design. The scale range is optimally selected when the operating pressure lies in the middle third of the scale range.

**Q: Where are liquid filled pressure gauge used?**

**Q: Why doesn't the gauge return to zero?**
A: Release system pressure first. After shipping or temperature changes, case pressure may not balance, so the pointer may not return to zero. Briefly remove or loosen the top plug to equalize pressure, then reseal it. Never remove under pressure.

**Q: Why isn't the gauge fully filled with liquid? Are bubbles normal?**
A: Normal. Liquid expands and contracts with temperature. A 100% fill could raise internal pressure when hot, causing lens bulging, leaks, or inaccurate readings. Gauges are usually filled to about 85%, leaving a small buffer. Slight bubbles are normal.
