We screwed lengths of 2"x2" tannelised timber to the bottom, extended about a foot either end, then put rope through holes in each end, so could lift/drag the whole coop without damaging it, and without damaging our backs. This had the advantage of protecting the frame of the coop from wet ground, and strengthened the whole structure. Total cost about £6, and worth it. **Q: Would this house two cats and be warm enough** A: It would be ok for two cats for a short term thing but its certainly not big enough to keep cats in there full time. I have three chickens in mine and I wouldn't even keep them in there on a permanent basis, they just sleep in it. It wouldn't be warm enough mid winter for cats. I pad my coop up and put in pet heat pads during winter months for my girls.
