Review: Take up the slack gently - Mine works really well. But you have to be careful and the rear bike has to have the right stem. If you snatch the rope when starting or the back person doesn't keep tension on the rope, someone is going to get hurt. Ideally you connect while moving and the rear rider gently slows till the rope is tight. Then the front rider can start to accelerate. Review: Good time but stings - Good item for helping out on hills or mechanical issues. Hurts when it retracts back and whips you tho. ## Features - UNIVERSAL - For all types of saddle rails and stems - EASY TO INSTALL - No tools required - EASY TO HANDLE - Fast attachment and detachment to all types of stems - SAFE - High-performance reel with complete return of the wire - LIGHTWEIGHT AND COMPACT - Discreet, under the saddle, for only 140g ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0BLWFZYV6 | | Best Sellers Rank | 6,096 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) 8 in Towing Straps & Ropes | | Brand Name | ZEFAL | | Colour | Black | | Country Of Origin | France | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (342) | | Frame Material Type | Metal | | Global Trade Identification Number | 03420586601175 | | Harness Type | 5-Point | | Included Components | x1 Bike Taxi | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 8.5L x 7W x 4.7H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Bike Tow Rope | | Item Weight | 140 Grams | | Manufacturer | Zefal | | Manufacturer Part Number | 7035 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 2 year manufacturer | | Maximum Height Recommendation | 150 Centimetres | | Maximum Weight Recommendation | 90 Kilograms | | Model Number | 7035 | | Mounting Type | under saddle | | Seating Capacity | 1 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** ZEFAL - **Colour:** Black - **Frame material:** Metal - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 03420586601175 - **Item weight:** 140 Grams - **Maximum height recommendation:** 150 Centimetres - **Maximum weight recommendation:** 90 Kilograms - **Mounting type:** under saddle - **Product dimensions:** 8.5L x 7W x 4.7H centimetres - **Seating capacity:** 1 ## Images ![Zefal Bike Taxi Tow Rope – Retractable 2m Towing Cable, Lightweight 140g Saddle‑Mounted System, High‑Density Polyethylene Rope, Up to 95 kg Tow Load – Family MTB & Cycling - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51DHCo+XkGL.jpg) ![Zefal Bike Taxi Tow Rope – Retractable 2m Towing Cable, Lightweight 140g Saddle‑Mounted System, High‑Density Polyethylene Rope, Up to 95 kg Tow Load – Family MTB & Cycling - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51KKQnhNSnL.jpg) ![Zefal Bike Taxi Tow Rope – Retractable 2m Towing Cable, Lightweight 140g Saddle‑Mounted System, High‑Density Polyethylene Rope, Up to 95 kg Tow Load – Family MTB & Cycling - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61uJe48tfOL.jpg) ![Zefal Bike Taxi Tow Rope – Retractable 2m Towing Cable, Lightweight 140g Saddle‑Mounted System, High‑Density Polyethylene Rope, Up to 95 kg Tow Load – Family MTB & Cycling - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71fwkqmEauL.jpg) ![Zefal Bike Taxi Tow Rope – Retractable 2m Towing Cable, Lightweight 140g Saddle‑Mounted System, High‑Density Polyethylene Rope, Up to 95 kg Tow Load – Family MTB & Cycling - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61dlH8BK9dL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Take up the slack gently *by C***S on 3 September 2025* Mine works really well.
