Review: Bidet IS the best way! - We absolutely love our Luxe Neo 110 bidet attachments; just wish we would have discovered them sooner. Why are Americans so resistant to the concept of the bidet? They are the rule rather than the exception in most of Europe-they have been mandatory in Italy since 1975- and extremely common in much of the rest of the world. We have a large Mideastern population in our area which wouldn't live without a bidet or a shataf, the eastern equivalent. We will always have bidets in our home from now on; no going back. We purchased a Neo 110 for our master bath, and soon added another in our guest bathroom. Installation was fast and easy with no more than a single wrench and took only about 10 minutes after pre-reading the instructions. So on to the pros and cons: Pros: The materials and overall quality seem to be more than adequate. I've seen where some reviewers have complained about the plastic tee connector supplied, but it's of substantial thickness and there is no real stress placed on this element, so I don't see it as a problem. Installation is laughably easy and trouble free. Regular cleaning is also easy, and occasional deep cleaning requires only removing the seat to completely lift off the device and clean all surfaces thoroughly. Cons: the only con I have is the same one reported by many reviewers before me; here in my locale with a municipal water delivery system, the water pressure is excessive at any but the lowest dial setting on the bidet. I agree that perhaps this should be re-engineered, but Luxe does offer an accessory that provides a shut-off valve that allows you to reduce the incoming water pressure, and as an extra bonus, allows you to shut off the bidet water supply, a very practical feature in households with small children, preventing the bidet from accidentally being turned on. I would like to evaluate one of these valves in the future, and will review it here if I do. You can find the valve on desertcart here: Luxe Metal T-adapter with Shut-off Valve, 3-way Tee Connector, Chrome Finish, for Luxe Neo Bidets http://www.desertcart.com/gp/product/B00FPYIK6M/ref=cm_cd_asin_lnk Update, July 2016: We're still happy with our bidets, and both are still functioning perfectly.
Review: Great product, service, and value! - Overall, I have been very pleased with both the product and customer service!! I feel cleaner and more hygienic than using tissue/wipes alone. I'm not sure why bidets haven't had a wider spread in American culture (especially considering how much we spend on hygiene) but I'm happy that they seem to slowly becoming more mainstream. Before purchasing, I had some concerns and I'd like to share them (and my subsequent findings): 1. Would the water be too cold for comfort? Honestly, not at all!! I wasn't sure what to expect in that first use, but I was happy to learn that the water temperature was no issue. It's actually quite refreshing...especially on a hot day. 2. Was it easy to install/remove? This product is very simple to install...and remove (but I have no plan to do that)! My only recommendation would be to purchase toilet seat bumpers to prop up the front part of the seat as this will elevate the back slightly after installation. (They cost about $4 and you can get them on desertcart too). I live in an apartment so I can uninstall and take this with me if/when I move. 3. How would it look? Since it's an addition to an existing toilet, it may be a slightly different color than the toilet...but I've quickly adjusted to it. The pressure knob sits on the right side about 4 inches out from the seat (so be sure you have room). Very easy to reach the knob. 4. How is the water pressure? Turn the knob slowly until you find the comfort you desire. I only turn it 1/4 of the way on and it works great!! It may have some dependency on your home or apartment's water pressure...but bottom line is be slow until you learn how high you want to turn it. 5. Effectiveness? I've been very pleased. You 'go', rinse a bit, and pat dry. :-) Occasionally I may still use a bit of toilet paper...but that's far and in between. I really do feel much cleaner using this system than I did using paper and wipes. In all, this is a great product and a great value. It's really good if you've been debating getting a bidet, but didn't want to spend too much without knowing how you'd like it. Give it a shot...I think you'll be very happy.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Comparing with Luxe180's *dual, self-cleaning* nozzles. Do women find this single nozzle effective for the front area too & does nozzle stay clean?**
A: I have purchased both the dual-nozzle and the single-nozzle models. There is no reason for you to pay extra for two nozzles. I am a woman and never change where I'm sitting to rinse, but lean slightly one way or another. The nozzle stays clean. Getting a bidet will save tons of toilet paper and it is wonderful to be so clean.

**Q: does this come with the T connector ??? its not clear if it does. thanks!**
A: Yes, it comes with all the accessories you need for installation, including the t-connector, hoses, etc.

**Q: After installing it, had a huge gap between seat and bowl. Sitting on it puts pressure on bidet and bends it down. Anyone with same problem?solution?**
A: I have two bathrooms and 2 bidets, one on a rounded toilet seat, and one on an elongated toilet seat. If you buy a nicer wooden toilet seat, it will have bumpers underneath which work perfectly. I paid $35 for my last good toilet seat, to give you a reference. If you have a less expensive plastic seat, often the bumpers underneath aren't big enough. I have bought the stick-on bumpers, but they only stayed on for about a month.

**Q: Is this easy to uninstall? We rent but I want this so bad.**
A: Very easy to install and very easy to uninstall. Like it was never there.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ it's a shame to have to go anywhere but at home!
*by A***O on May 30, 2014*

First off I'd say that my toilet paper consumption has decreased dramatically. At minimum a 60% reduction, maybe as much as 90% less because I really only use it now for drying off. The bidet is so wonderful I (serious here) have even invited friends over to poop and try it out. I find myself annoyed if I have to poop anywhere but home, and when I travel I look forward to returning home to my bidet. I feel that it does a better job cleaning than even meticulous toilet paper and moist wipes. Quite by accident I discovered that on occasion, when the user's body is positioned at the correct angle and under the right conditions (which I'm still not quite sure of) the water will actually find its way into the hole for a bit of an internal rinse-out. I agree with the consensus of other reviewers - the water pressure is excessive and perhaps a bit dangerous anywhere beyond the very lowest settings. This is only a negative if someone isn't aware and just jacks the switch all the way on without any caution. Another possible negative is that it very slightly reduces the space at the back of the toilet bowl, so for standing male urination, this gives guys a bit smaller area to aim at. In this household the benefits for the bidet FAR outweigh the possible negatives. The installation was really a cinch, I don't think it even took me 6 minutes to complete start to finish. I have the TOTO MS853113-01 Ultimate Round One Piece Toilet http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018LB7C0/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which is about as close to the wall as the bidet manufacturer's website specifications indicate. It fits very nicely with comfortable room to spare. And the toilet seat (one of the slow-close kinds) needed no adjustment at all. It operates perfectly and with no noticable difference from when the bidet wasn't there. Some reviewers have mentioned the need to use toilet seat bumpers but this was not necessary for me. This bidet _IS_ the way to go. It's inexpensive, seems to be well-made and durable, and it truly does its job well.
