Once that was done I found the saw to cut straight and relatively aggressively, but the kerf was wider than I liked. After a gentle adjustment of the set I found the saw easy to control with plenty of weight. The handle can accommodate a very large hand, and as it is attached with genuine screws rather than rivets it can easily be replaced if one chooses. A saw of this weight is too heavy for a wide kerf. After tapping the Kerf down both sides with a hammer it now cuts much easier and less viciously. Glad I bought this quality and like that it may be re-sharpened....
