As I expected, I am having to constantly adjust the elbow pads, pulling them back up over the elbow, this is very nice.. thick, soft and I can tell it is comfortable for my 13 year old Border collie. He has auto immune issues that affect his feet and now his elbow is bare, raw and sore as well. He lays in dirt and concrete rather than in the grass and he is destroying his elbows. In addition he is an obessive licker which really aggravates the problem. These elbow protectors are helping, as long as they are covering his elbow. His elbow is finally able to heal because I can finally keep his tongue off of it and they are well protected inside these very nice pads. So for a dog garment, which are impossible to keep in place, these are truly the best I have found. I even ordered a 2nd one so he can be protected while one is being washed. I recommend!
