Review: Miracle cure for EBV, CF, Lupus and Colitis! - So I waited a while to do my review to make sure I could really say if this worked or not. IT WORKS! LIFE SAVER! I was diagnosed with Colitis about 8 years ago. No medicine seems to work on me, even prednisone (steroids) -everyone seems to get some kind of help from prednisone but it only makes me sicker. The last 4 years I have been pretty severe, constantly needing blood transfusions, in and out of the hospital, I looked like a zombie, my hair was falling out in handfuls... I was a mess. Review: Amazing for sinus issues!! Helpful for h pylori - This product is AMAZING! **Q: Whats the difference between this and regular unrefined coconut oil?**
A: Coconut oil is about 50% Lauric acid by volume. It also contains other types of fats. Lauric acid is a medium chain TRIglyceride. Monolaurin is its corresponding medium chain MONOglyceride which give them different properties in the body. When you consume lauric acid in coconut oil, a small percentage of that will be converted to monolaurin. Lauricidin contains just purified monolaurin.

**Q: How many scoops of Lauricidin does this package contain?  I am trying to estimate how long this will last, depending on how much I take.**
A: Each jar contains 75 scoops, so if you're taking 2 per day like I do you get about 5 weeks worth per container.  Your optimal dosage is best determined once you start taking it. The package directions indicate "up to 3" scoops per day.  It's not toxic but people do respond differently to different amounts, sometimes with various side affects like mild digestive upsets. You can safely experiment and find the right level for yourself.

**Q: Why so important to take with 'something cool' -best time for me to take is with hot tea. What would be the problem with taking with hot tea? Thanks.**
A: I don't know for sure but a friend chewed up some lauricidin  and found it to be quite hot.  The heat from the lauricidin stayed in her mouth for quite some time.  Perhaps drinking hot tea would cause it to melt and release the heat from it.  Just a guess

**Q: These worked great several years ago, but recent packages don't appear to dissolve before I pass them. Is this a problem?**
A: If they just pass, you aren't absorbing them. Since monolaurin is a fat, you should look into why you aren't absorbing fats... This is often related to bile production/storage, which can be related to liver function... But there's a lot of parts to the digestive system, so you might want to look into it/talk to a white coat person. Other symptoms of fat absorption issues are light colored, floating, and/or "greasy" stools (all signs of un-absorbed fats), and diarrhea. To see the specifics of how monolaurin is absorbed and processed, google "monolaurin metabolism". Best wishes.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Detox supplements: If you have them, then low and slow isn't needed

I might be healthier or sicker than most taking this supplement. Probably the later, but I'm definitely among those that are prepared. Specifically, activated charcoal powder does the bulk of the work in countering die off reactions. However liver herbs/supplements are essential. I rely on (Terry Naturally Curamed) curcumin for this reason. The curcumin also pulls through when I don't take the activated charcoal in a timely manner, and quickly manages any headache(, but its pricey.) Pure artichoke powder unstandardized works fine too as a secondary liver tonic source. (Although I take lecithin powder from sunflower for another reason, this too is good for the liver.) Also, I've been out of probiotics for a month or two now, and I know this is one huge factor needed to any monolaurin regiment. Now, I've read and re-read about starting low and slow, but this is day four and I'm at 9 scoops per day. Somewhere it stated not to take over twelve scoops per day, so today I will definitely meet that limit. I think because of the semi significant coconut content of my diet which has been ongoing for at least a few months in addition to the above mentioned herx/healing reaction supplements, I'm able tolerate these high dosages. I'm might be extraordinarily sick too as I believe (though can confirm for you) that I'm addressing shingles and its associated halitosis. I absolutely love this product for many reasons. It's inexpensive especially when comparing to other antiviral herbal preparations on the market. Namely, Steven Buhner's listed herbal antiviral/antibiotics in his book series (which I still highly recommend for someone looking for an original presentation of other therapeutic agents in addressing related conditions.) Anyways, prior to monolaurin I was religiously committed to a high dose fat soluble vitamin regiment. Astanxanthin, tocotrienols (vitamin e), ascorbital palmitate (fat soluble vitamin c), Ubiquinol, vitamin A, and vitamin D3. In addition, liposomal vitamin C AND ascorbic acid powder too. Let me underscore that Ubiquinol is expensive especially at the upper doses that's needed for gingivitis (which is the bacterial variant of gum disease. Yes, I'm saying here that I had more than one problem with my gums, and that halitosis is distinct from gingivitis.) And, vitamin C requires at an hour by hour commitment (or even every half hour) that isn't compatible with one of my jobs. All of this however just didn't bring an end though still effective in my view. I truly needed a an antiviral/antibiotic, and Lauricidin right now is fulfilling that void! FYI: I'm a recovered Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. My low period stems back a few years, maybe four. I really wish I had this back then. I intend on adding a rigorous dose of proteolytic enzymes to the regiment in the near future, so look out for a review update. Update: 18 June 2018 Since I began my monolaurin regiment about a month and a half ago, I have predominantly decrease the need for most of the above mentioned supplements (which is remarkable as I had believed my body simply became accustomed to high dosages of lyposheric vitamin c. This is not the case. I've since found out that I have contracted hepatitis B from my physician which underscores my liver problem. In using this product in conjunction with some proteolytic enzymes my liver problem disappeared. However lately I have been not using the enzymes and not as consistent as I should be with Laucidin, so it's came back a bit. In addition the shingles symptoms that have manifested are undeniably clear. And here is where the product has really saved me as I haven't had major or minor break outs. Even the halitosis went away for a whole but came back due to bad eating habbits. This product has proven pivotal for my health concerns and saved money.
