The only difference is they are not permanent as the gelatos are. They need a sealant if your going to preserve your craft work. I can say they are amazingly soft and easy to use. They blend beautifully with Caran Dache Neo watercolour crayons, Inktense block colours and other gel type crayons. The colours work with fingers to blend, sponges and a hint of water, brushes and all kinds of possibilities are endless. I love them and they are just part of my stash of gelatos without worrying what quality I have.
