Review: Great little fire alarm - We bought these to travel with as they are very small and easy to use and don't need to be mounted. Very pleased with them and we did use one on our recent holiday. We bought three and they are now dotted round the house. Nice looking alarm much more modern that the big old syle ones that we had. Can't comment on battery life as only had them about a month but they are non replacebale and supposed to last 10 years.
Review: Very small circumference but quite large ( deep ) - very modern looking and the 10 year ( claimed ) battery life appeals but no way of testing that of course . the fitting requires the unit to be twisted into the base which is attached first. That causes quite a strain on the base plate fitting and caused two screws to come out of the ceiling holes. I would prefer to have fitted the base to unit ( as it acts as the switch which turns on the device ) and used stickers or screws to secure. Because the base is put under twisting pressure to turn the unit on you need good ceilings to attach to. That said the units are very well made and appear to work when tested.
