Review: good but heavy - The laptop was in expellant condition, almost like new. Every thing worked, and after upgrading ram to 32 gb I am quite pleased with it. Two very minor gripes - this thing is heavy!! I use it to read and browse while in bed and it is a bit unwieldy due to weight and size. Also, the boot protection HP installed on it makes for a rather slow bootup, but this is a minor complaint and definitely not a deal breaker. Overall a great pc with HP quality.
Review: Refurbished laptop defective - Supposedly refurbished laptop was defective. I had it sent directly to my computer expert, who is my cousin. He reported to me that there were lines across the screen. Screen wasn't cracked, but didn't function correctly. We returned it to desertcart, and are awaiting a refund.

The laptop was in expellant condition, almost like new. Every thing worked, and after upgrading ram to 32 gb I am quite pleased with it. Two very minor gripes - this thing is heavy!! I use it to read and browse while in bed and it is a bit unwieldy due to weight and size. Also, the boot protection HP installed on it makes for a rather slow bootup, but this is a minor complaint and definitely not a deal breaker. Overall a great pc with HP quality.

Supposedly refurbished laptop was defective. I had it sent directly to my computer expert, who is my cousin. He reported to me that there were lines across the screen. Screen wasn't cracked, but didn't function correctly. We returned it to Amazon, and are awaiting a refund.
