The hat is made well - you can tell the attention to detail by the good stitching, precise measurents/sewing, and the fact that there are no sharp edges on the metal ventilation holes. I like that there are plastic caribiner-like attachments for the adjustable chin strap so you can remove them if you want the hat without the chin strap. The four ventilation holes and the mesh inside the hat keep your head cool. There is also an elastic adjustable drawstring which can be used to adjust the circumference of the hat - this is a great feature as my daughter can now also wear this hat and can grow into it as she gets older.
