Not only does it need to be in the shade, but the body panels also need to be cool to the touch. You can’t take your car out of the sun or go on a long drive and expect to park the car out of the sun and start waxing! Make sure it’s cool! Dampen the included foam applicator pad prior to use… inset the foam pad and slightly turn it a few times with gentle pressure… do one section at a time and have two soft rags to remove the wax. Flip the towels once they start leaving residue…. All that means is the pores of the microfiber are starting to clog with wax. Time to switch sides.The wax will last about 8 months. A year under the best case scenario. Weekend driven car that’s parked in a garage in a warm climate with no snow. I love this wax and I’ll continue to use it!
