Review: A HEAVY duty laminator! - I have only used this once since getting it but expecting to get a lot more use out of it. It is expensive but so far it is good value for money. It is very heavy unit but the 6 rollers provide clean tight edges to the items being laminated. Only downside so far is that the words on the buttons are not clear what they meant until I cross referenced with the instructions, hopefully will remember in future though. Review: NO CLEANING SHEET INCLUDED. - This is my second Proteus in 3 years. My first one had a lot of use and was excellent until the rollers got “ glued” together. Sadly the rollers can’t be replaced! The fact that a cleaning sheet should be used regularly did not get my attention when reading the “how to clean it.” This should be in capital letters and should be supplied with this top of the range, very expensive small office laminator. I purchased another pricey brand and returned it immediately as the performance was poor. I then purchased the Fellowes Venus which was equally poor although it did include cleaning sheets. I succumbed and purchased another Proteus and a cleaning sheet and apart from an empty bank account all is well! This truly is an excellent machine. I use 250 micron laminate for all materials so a cheaper machine is not an option.
