Horrible Vinyl *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2023* APP is one of my favorite groups of all time, that being said I was happy to get the bulk of all their LP's in one place. I do have this set on CD but instead of tracking down each LP on it's own (some are not in print) I figured this to be easier. I was wrong. The actual recordings a d quality of the Half-Speed mastering is spot on and sounds amazing, my qualms are with the horrendous quality of the vinyl itself. Why go through all the trouble of a Half-Speed mastering process to press everything on the noisiest vinyl you can find. 5 of the LP's are so bad I cried. You charge upwards of $400 and as a buyer you kind of expect quality. There's no quality here, no quality control at the pressing plant. I'm glad I saved $100 by getting this from Amazon and not from Alan Parsons directly because I'd be more angry than I am now.
