## Overview

## Description

Thermoworx Polymorph is a thermoplastic polymer which melts at 62°C and consists of small off-white plastic granules. By heating these granules in hot water the user can easily melt the pellets to form a transparent flexible material. Once melted the opaque white pellets fuse together, become transparent and soften, allowing the user to form the plastic by hand into unique shapes. Polymorph has unlimited uses, from prototyping new products, creating gadgets and toys to replacement parts and general DIY repairs. This is the highest quality and strongest Polymorph available on the market and it's immense strength makes it's DIY possibilities endless. Adding colour to Polymorph or painting finished products allows an even more impressive range of shapes and ideas to be created.

Review: Thumbs up from me!! - (GENUINE REVIEWS ONLY HERE - shame on you who sell themselves for the price of a cheap product!) I saw this and thought 'that will never work' - ill try it.... It ABSOLUTELY does, its not messy, its not toxic, when i hardens in solid, and its tough - very tough!! The only one NEGATIVE is if like me you dump nearly a whole bag in to see if it will work.....yes it will.....although once you have a base ball sized solid lump when you try to softened it int he hot water......well it wont!! The outer 2 or 3 mm will soften but the heat wont penetrate within in. Although i suppose you could put it in the oven or something......but its so cheap and desertcart deliver so fast.......... Anything less than an inch ion thickness you can reheat and remould as many times as you like. I would recommend you have a bag of this in a cupboard or the garage as its going to be very useful im sure.
Review: Good value and works well - This stuff is great! Warm it up to mould it, doesn’t need to be boiling so cool enough to mould after a second or two, then it can be moulded into anything that you imagine plasticine could be moulded into but then sets solid and strong plastic too. So far I’ve only used it to mould a new small buckle for a strap for a pair of goggles that had broke. Now it’s stronger than the original. Very good

**Q: Does it stick to surfaces or it only creates a shell around the objects?**
A: It will stick to most plastics, it will not naturally stick to other materials such as wood, metals or clay...

**Q: Can this be lightly sanded down once hardened, i.e. Rough edges to make them smooth before painting?**
A: Hi , I have never tried to sand it smooth, But it does set really hard so i don't see why not, hope this helps,

**Q: Can this be cut into slices, or be used to pour into a mould?**
A: Hi, when heated in hot water polymorph becomes pliable like putty, Can be moulded into most shapes, but it is not liquid enough to be pourable, hope this helps. x Alan

**Q: Could this be used to make ear moulds for earplugs**
A: Yes it could but be careful the moulding temperature may be too high for the ear.  It also sets hard!

This stuff is great! Very simple, place in hot water till they turn clear. spoon them onto a plate, then form them into any shape. if its not quite right, then dip them into hot water again, and adjust as often as you want. great for making your own dental bridges.
