Reinforced plywood panels act as a sleeper sofa bar shield, covering the steel bars that dig into your back, hips, and spine through thin mattresses. From the brand featured by New York Times Wirecutter. - REINFORCED PLYWOOD CONSTRUCTION β€” This sofa bed mattress support board is built from premium plywood panels wrapped in durable industrial-grade fabric. The rigid panels sit between the frame and mattress, distributing weight evenly across the entire sleeping surface. The Original sofa bed board for under mattress support, engineered to eliminate dips, sags, and pressure points. - FOLDS FOR EASY STORAGE β€” This pull out couch support board arrives pre-folded and unfolds in seconds. Place it on the sofa bed frame before adding the mattress. After your guests leave, fold it back up and store it in a closet, under a bed, or behind furniture. Works as fold out bed support with no tools and no permanent changes to your furniture. - FIRMS UP SAGGING MATTRESSES β€” Provides sleeper sofa mattress support by distributing weight evenly across the bed frame, helping older mattresses feel firm and even again. A more effective alternative to a sofa bed mattress topper because it addresses the structural cause of discomfort, not just the surface. Extends the life of your mattress and frame at a fraction of furniture replacement cost. - AVAILABLE IN QUEEN, FULL AND TWIN β€” Pick the size that matches your sofa bed. This couch bed board provides pull out bed support and works as a sofa bed bar shield for memory foam, innerspring, and coil mattresses. Meliusly is a family-owned brand that has been making sleeper sofa comfort solutions longer than any competitor. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #58,686 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #15 in Sofa Replacement Parts | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,794 Reviews | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Meliusly - **Assembly Required:** No - **Seat Depth:** 48 inches - **Seat Height:** 0.5 Inches - **Product Dimensions:** 48"D x 60"W x 2"H - **Item Weight:** 10 Pounds - **Type:** Sleeper - **Color:** Grey - **Special Feature:** Anti-Slip, Easy to Store, Foldable - **Upholstery Fabric Type:** Polyester ## Images ![Meliusly Sleeper Sofa Bed Support Board Twin (36x48) - Heavy Duty Wood - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ybS7EOxGL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this work for Queen size?** A: Hello, we now have a 48x60'' size board available which is specifically made for Queen size sofa beds. Hope that helps! -Laura **Q: If I get a 48 x 60 can I rotate it to fit most of the lenght of a full size bed?** A: It folds up accordion style. If you rotate it, you may end up with the sofa bed bar in your back. I would get the 48x48 size. You don't need it for your legs. Your upper torso is where you need it. Ours is 48 long x60 wide to fit our queen size sofe and it works great. **Q: Will 48x60 fit a full-size?** A: Hi Hazel, thanks for your question. 48x60 will fit a queen size sofa bed. For full-size you should order 48x48 (it should be back in stock later this week). I hope this helps! -Ben **Q: Is there any PROBLEM with using the QUEEN SIZE on my full size sofa--it will fit?** A: Hi, thanks for your question. The queen size board is normally too wide for a full-size sofa bed, so we would not recommend to purchase a queen-size board if your sofa bed is full-size (48-50 inches wide). ## Frequently Bought Together - Meliusly Heavy Duty Sleeper Sofa Support Board (48x36 - Twin Size) Reinforced Wood Sofa Bed Support, Pull Out Couch Mattress Board, Sleeper Bar Shield, SleeperSaver - Rhyme source 4.5 Inch Cold Gel Memory Foam Sofa Bed Mattress Replacement for Sleeper Sofa and Couch Beds Twin Size Sofa CertiPUR-US Certified (Sofa Not Included) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/508386738-meliusly-sleeper-sofa-bed-support-board-twin-36x48-heavy-duty](https://www.desertcart.us/products/508386738-meliusly-sleeper-sofa-bed-support-board-twin-36x48-heavy-duty) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
