Hope this helps. Kind regards, Dan **Q: What is weight of this chest of drawer?** A: This weighs 25kg **Q: Would this be suitable for a bathroom and is it a polished finish?** A: Good morning, The item has a lacquer finish but has not been designed for bathroom use. It does depend on your bathroom but the damp/humid environment could affect the item as its not been treated with that use in mind. **Q: Does the drawer base and back of chest of drawer are made of solid wood?** A: Solid as the same type found on a tea chest. Certainly not the same as the front or sides. The handles were corroaded and the top warped. Started the return process with Amazing Amazon, who word only contribute 4.95 to return such shoddy goods, only for packaging to be scrapped beforehand. So, ending up buying new handle & keeping it. Would never buy any more furniture from Amazon & would not recommend this product ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just what I wanted *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 January 2024* Fabulous chest of drawers to go with our oak desk, very well made, sturdy and solid drawers, we love it it looks great ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice Tallboy *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 July 2021* I’ve bought three pieces of oak furniture off Amazon recently and they have all been excellent. This unit arrived early and was very well protected with not too much polystyrene. It came ready assembled, and just needed the door handles reversed. As the unit is top heavy, it must be attached to the wall behind it.It’s well made in Vietnam and all gaps around drawers are even.I gave it a quick polish with wax, and it’s ready to use. Excellent value, thank you. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Four Stars *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 6 October 2017* Great storage for a small space.
