The quality is almost like on video tape.Lucky Spawn got his dark voice and you will find yourself back in your younger days with some nostalgic feeling...but some re-mastering and improving would not have hurt. The perfect adaptation of a comic book, this is dark, brooding and utterly uncompromising. This is probably due to the fact that Todd MacFarlane himself was the driving force behind the project. As stated by MacFarlane the live action film was the teenagers entrance into the world of Spawn while this is most definitely the adults entrance and also a much closer adaption of the comics themselves.
